Be Sure To Keep Up With All Your student's Immunizations!

No Shots - No School - New Rule for students in grades 7-12 grades

Please bring your updated vaccines to the Attendance Office Immediately!  Assembly Bill 354 requires current Tdap to stay in our school.

Since the early 1990s, the number of reported pertussis cases in adolescents (10-19 years of age) has increased nearly 11-fold. Unfortunately, these adolescents may spread the disease to infants and young children who are not fully immunized and are at far greater risk of complications or dying from the disease.

We need your help in keeping our vaccine records current. Please bring in the updated vaccine record from your health care provider. If you have questions about any vaccine-preventable disease, talk to your health-care provider.

Please go to our district web site and look up Tdap--pertussis or whooping cough for more information. If you have any questions regarding this vaccine or any health concern contact our credentialed school nurse, Rachel Barron at (510) 723-3100 or rbarron@husd.us.

If you have an updated immunization record for your child that you need to submit, please e-mail a copy to sk316@husd.us and/or di506@husd.us.
